Drop-off Recycling


The City of Bellevue’s solid waste provider, Republic Services, provides drop-off recycling for residents for more difficult to recycle items.

Drop-off recycling is located at Republic Services Customer Care Center at 1600 127th Ave NE.

The following are accepted:

  • Small Appliances (2ft x 2ft x 2ft or smaller and less than 60 pounds): All microwave ovens, toaster ovens, irons, etc. 
  • Household Batteries: Place rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries in separate, clear, sealed bags.
  • Bicycles and Bike Parts
  • Used Cooking Oil: Seal uncontaminated oil (no large solids) in clean, clear, screw-top, plastic jugs. Label jugs with name and address. Limit 3 gallons per drop off and 10 gallons per year. 
  • Small Electronics (2ft x 2ft x 2ft or smaller and less than 60 pounds): Such as computer equipment, audio equipment, TVs, cell phones, and MP3 players.
  • Fluorescent Tubes & Bulbs: Tubes: Wrap in paper and secure with tape. No longer than 4 ft. Bulbs: Bag in closed plastic bags. Limit 2 tubes/bulbs per visit, and 10 per year.
  • Hardcover Books
  • Scrap Metal: All ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal, including lids 3in or larger, that are free of wood, plastic, rubber, and other contaminants.
  • Rigid Plastics: All 5 gallon buckets, PVC pipes, laundry baskets, plastic lawn furniture, Big Wheels, coolers, and Nalgene bottles. Size limit: 2ft x 2ft x 2ft.
  • Small Propane Cylinders: Cylinders must be empty – no tanks. 
  • Molded Styrofoam: No packing peanuts.
  • Textiles: Place clean, dry clothing and household textiles in clear plastic bags.
