Waste Reduction Assistance

Students use reusable lunch trays instead of foam ones.

Bellevue Utilities assists Bellevue schools with improving waste reduction, composting, and recycling. Outreach is tailored to each school and can include: lunch time staffing and presentations; working with student groups; and, special event booths during lunch, school events, or science fairs. Tools that are available to schools include recycling and composting containers, and kid-friendly signage.
