Waste Prevention and Recycling for Environmental Sciences Classes

Bellevue Utilities offers assistance for AP Environmental Science (APES) programs. Assistance can include: funding for transportation to tours of Cedar Hills landfill, sewage treatment plants, and local recycling centers; displays at events; mentoring of senior projects; sponsoring “Go Green” movies; and, loaning materials to supplement lessons.

Salmon, Streams and Stormwater for Environmental Sciences Classes

Bellevue Utilities' Stream Team offers a field trip to the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center to learn about salmon, stormwater, pollution prevention, and natural drainage practices.
